Bio
I am a Visting Research Fellow based at London School of Economics (Department of Anthropology). This is a post-doctoral mobility position sponsored by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
Before this position, I worked at the universities of Lausanne and Zurich. I obtained my doctorate at the University of Lausanne with mobility scholarships at the New York University and Max Planck Institute.
Outside academia, I worked as a consultant for the GIZ, UNICEF and World Resource Forum to translate my research into policy-relevant recommendations.
I am originally from Bytom, a city in coal mining part of Poland. Having grown up near environmental damage and rapid closing of mines has had a lasting influence on my interests in sustainability, environment, and holistic notions of social well-being.
